Hi-Tech lifestyle and increased materialism has the current generation restless and racing against time. Lack of interest in our own Culture and Traditions made us strangers for our own DHARMA. Today most of the X-Generations parents are not able to answer simple questions asked by kids, like - why we wear Tilak or Bindi? , Why women put Haldi on feet?, Why we should break Coconut in Temples? , etc. Time and interest factors are the main reasons and the influence of Western civilization have over took ours.

We have been kept away from our traditions. Over night we can not change the present rotten westernized culture, but sure we can change tomorrow and in future.

Members of SriRamyam practice Hanuman Chalisa,Ramayana in their homes and also worship in temples. They also promote bhakti-yoga, or SreeRama Consciousness, through festivals, the performing arts, yoga seminars, public chanting, and the distribution of the society’s literatures.
